Abstract: The disruption caused by COVID-19 has reached unprecedented levels. With the persistent pandemic showing no signs of abating, there has been a collective reimagining of the future of technical and vocational education and training (TVET). TVET is intrinsically linked to labor market demands and the availability of workplace training opportunities. Consequently, it is bearing the brunt of the current shock waves. Workplace training opportunities have dwindled; labor markets have been jolted, with new digital skills in high demand and old skills phased out faster than expected. Author: NA
